Russian government recently proposed a train which stretched from London to Tokyo. This could be theoretically possible by using Trans-Siberian railway. Constructions that would be needed would include a 28-mile bridge over the East Sea.
Beginning in London, the train would take travelers through the heart of Russia before concluding in Wakkanai, Japan. This would spur reconciliation talks between Russia and Japan due to failed treaty negations which have spanned for over 70 years.
